Finally the long-awaited and deserved holiday is here.. and here i am, waiting for the 0615 virgin blue flight to melbourne at 0300 in the morning at the brisbane domestic airport.. zZzZzZz.. lucky for us, there is wireless internet hotspot here.. woohoo.. powered by telstra.. thank God for rescuing us from a long and boring wait..

After camping in the computer labs for the past few days til wee hours, in order to complete my project demo, i now feel like a true UQ IT student. Most of the UQ IT students have to camp in the labs til very late one or many times during their course. Thats why they have the labs opened for 24hrs and even a microwave outside the labs. Haha. Then again, that may be true for any students anywhere in the world. It feels good when the demostration is over.

Week of break

I didn't really accomplished everything i wanted to in the week of holiday but enough to make my life abit easier. haha. i completed the whole series of full metal panic, fumoffu and the second raid anime, GDI missions of Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, my 2000 words HCI report in cognitive interaction and stayed in goldcoast for 1 days / 2 nights. hmm.. sounded like i played more than studied right? = p

My trip to goldcoast was fun, thanks alot to matt who brought me to all the places and allow me to stay at his place. Learnt afew things such as, almost the whole goldcoast and northern new south wales was a volcano long long time ago and that glowworms are actually not worms. We went to alot of places such as natural bridge, hinze dam, surfer's paradise, billabong factory outlet and the spit.

Cool week eh.

Most Easterly

On the day b4 easter, i went to the most easterly point of australia, byron bay in new south wales, where the sunrise is suppose to be the most beautiful. We set off at 1am and arrived at 5am. It was literately freezing. The frozen wind was piercing through my windbreaker.

Unforunately for us, the sun was covered by the raining clouds. How disappointing. Nevertheless, the scenery was still breath-taking.

Wow it been almost a month since i last update my blog.. Not going to have much to say.. Mostly because that i already forgotten what i wanted to say.. Just have some photos to share..

A nostalgic trip

Two days b4 my flight to Brisbane, i went back to visit my old secondary school, Maris Stella High School, with Shaun-Paul and Weixiong. It sure brought back alot of memories. Guess who was the 1st person i saw when i got off Weixiong's car. It was our beloved Brother Anthony.

I instinctively turned back towards the car and managed to avoided contact with him. Phew~ Close encounter. By the way, Brother Anthony has been serving in MSHS ever since the year i was born.

After that, we went to the general office. Had a chat with Mrs Koh, the new vice principal and Mr Ragu, our english teacher. And after that, we went to the staff room. Plenty of familiar and unfamiliar faces. Had a chat with several of the teachers who taught us and we went off to continue our tour.

Several things that still haven't change since my time. Cashcard is still required to pay for the food in canteen. The food still taste suckie. Still have to wear the strangling tie on mondays. The marist band notice board still look as messy. There is still no swimming pool. And last but not the least, Brother Anthony is still the principal.

To conclude my trip, i went to dug out some of the stuffs in the next photo.

Finally, i was able to sit down and start on my long time empty blog. Not because i was very busy but it took me awhile to get my internet up. I have nothing more to say about the Australian ISPs and their services

I can say i'm pretty much settled in now. Credits goes to non other than our ever faithful God. And also the grp of frens i made here in Brisbane.

It is kinda late now. Therefore, i gonna talk about my adventures in Brisbane another time. Stay tuned.
